| effect | metolachlor is mainly absorbed by the base and buds of weeds, and conducts upward. by inhibiting the synthesis of germinating seed protein, it inhibits the penetration of choline and interferes with the synthesis of egg lipid, thereby inhibiting the growth of buds and roots. weeds are killed in the buds to achieve the purpose of preventing weeds, it can be applied to soybean, corn, cotton, cotton and other crop fields, and can prevent weeds such as crabgrass, barnyard grass, beef tendon grass, and golden tail grass. It also has a certain effect on broad-leaved weeds such as purslane and vegetable finding. It is one of the most important herbicides for many crops. |
