Abstract:
The invention provides a MG resin plant protein composite modified adhesive and a preparation method and application thereof. The active ingredients of the Composite modified adhesive include vegetable protein meal and MG resin. The adhesive prepared by the invention has the advantages of good water resistance, high solid content, good toughness, simple manufacturing process, environmental protection and no pollution, and the problem of formaldehyde release does not exist in the wood-based panel bonded with the adhesive, to avoid the problem of formaldehyde in indoor air caused by wood-based panels.
sovereignty:
1. A MG resin plant protein composite modified adhesive, wherein the active ingredient comprises plant protein meal and MG resin.
Abstract:
soybean protein adhesive generally has poor water resistance and high viscosity, which seriously hinders its wide use in wood-based panel production. In this study, the first synthesis of melamine glyoxal (MG) resin, MG resin and MG resin/attapulgite (ATP) as modifier, the soy protein adhesive was modified by FT-IR,TGA, the effects of MG resin and MG resin/ATP composite system on the properties of soybean protein adhesive were studied by SEM, water resistant adhesive strength, solid content and apparent viscosity. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)MG resin can effectively improve the solid content, water resistance bonding strength, sizing performance and thermal stability of soybean protein adhesive, and can effectively reduce its apparent viscosity. When the molar ratio of glyoxal to melamine is 8:1, and the amount of MG resin is 10% of the total mass of unmodified soy protein adhesive, the water-resistant bonding strength of plywood can reach 0.72 MPa, compared with unmodified soy protein adhesive (0.20 MPa), it increased by 270%. This is because the MG resin and the soybean protein form a physical-chemical cross-linking structure to prevent the water molecules from entering, thereby improving the water resistant bonding strength of the soybean protein adhesive.(2)MG resin and ATP composite modification can further improve the water-resistant bonding strength of soy protein adhesive plywood. When the addition of MG resin and ATP was 10% and 2%, respectively, the water-resistant bonding strength of plywood reached 1.00 MPa. Mainly due to the existence of a synergistic effect between MG resin and ATP: On the one hand, ATP promotes the formation of a entangled structure between MG resin and soy protein, thereby forming a more complex cross-linked network; On the other hand, ATP nanoparticles filled the internal space of the adhesive to form a dense adhesive layer, which improved the bonding ability between the adhesive and the wood interface, thereby improving the water-resistant bonding strength of the soy protein adhesive. However, the higher content of ATP did not further improve the water-resistant bonding strength of plywood.
