Used to image choroidal and retinal vessels. Compared with fluorescence angiography, ICG has better resolution for choroidal vessels and poorer resolution for retinal vessels.
choroidal blood vessels are rich and blood volume is large, accounting for about 65% of the total amount of eyeball blood.
