6-羟基-2-吡啶羧酸 - Introduction
6-hydroxyacrylic acid (6-hydroxyacrylic acid), also known as 6-Pyridin-2-olcarboxylic acid, is an organic compound.
Nature:
-Appearance: 6-hydroxyypicolinic acid is a colorless or slightly yellow crystal or crystalline powder.

Use:
-Chemical reagent: 6-hydroxyypicolinic acid is often used as a ligand of coordination compounds and can be used to synthesize metal complexes.
-Drug intermediate: It can be used to synthesize drugs containing pyridine ring structure.
Method:
The preparation of 6-hydroxypicolinic acid can be carried out by the following methods:
1. Pyridine and methanol react in the presence of oxygen to obtain 6-hydroxy-2-picolinic acid. Then the esterification reaction was carried out under alkaline conditions to obtain 6-hydroxyypicolinic acid.
