| Production method | Glycyrrhizic acid extracted from the rhizome of legume base grass (Glycyrrhiza uralen-sis fisch) is made into ammonium salt and then hydrolyzed. Licorice is my annual herb, mainly produced in Inner Mongolia and Gansu. The root and rhizome of licorice mainly contain glycyrrhizin, which is the potassium and calcium salt of Glycyrrhiz-ic acid and is the sweet ingredient of licorice. The sweetness is about 50 times that of sucrose. The crushed licorice is heated with water, and continuously countercurrent extraction is carried out to separate and remove impurities from grass residue to obtain an aqueous solution. Evaporation, concentration, stirring and sulfuric acid pH2-3. Let the precipitate stand and remove the supernatant. The precipitate washed out the sulfate radical with water, heated, concentrated and concentrated, and boiled into glycyrrhizic acid paste. The glycyrrhizic acid paste was crushed and extracted with 95% ethanol for 2-3 times for 3 hours each time to obtain ethanol solution. After filtration, the ammonia is stirred to a pH of 7-7.5. Filter again to obtain crude ammonium glycyrrhizinate salt, refined with glacial acetic acid, which is beige monoammonium glycyrrhizinate salt. Monoammonium glycyrrhizinate is added into 5% sulfuric acid aqueous solution, stirred and heated until near boiling, refluxed and hydrolyzed for 15h, filtered and washed with water to obtain crude glycyrrhetinic acid. After recrystallization and decolorization, basal oxinic acid with a content of more than 92% is obtained. In terms of licorice, the total yield is about 0.5%. from licorice extract (see "licorice 02317") after concentration, drying, preparation of crude crystals, and then in dilute alcohol recrystallization. The yield of 6%-14% can also be directly extracted with ammonia water, precipitated with sulfuric acid after concentration, and recrystallized with 95% ethanol. |
