Dimethyl benzylphosphonate(Dimethyl benzylphosphonate) is an organophosphorus compound. Its chemical formula is C9H13O3P and its molecular weight is 198.18g/mol.

Use:
Dimethyl benzylphosphonate are often used in organic synthesis reactions as reagents or intermediates. It can be used to prepare phosphorus-containing organic compounds, such as phosphate esters, phosphatase inhibitors, etc. In addition, it can also be used in pesticides, pharmaceuticals and dyes industries.
Preparation Method:
Dimethyl benzylphosphonate are generally obtained by reacting benzyl chloride with dimethylphosphonic anhydride. The reaction can be carried out under inert gas protection at low temperature.
