Name | fixing agent M |
Synonyms | Fixing agent M |
Physical and Chemical Properties | This product is a blue or green viscous liquid. Soluble in 5 times the amount of 2% cold acetic acid. After a long storage time, it is not easy to dissolve and can be heated in a water bath until it melts. The fabric treated with fixing agent M has improved its fastness to sunlight. |
Use | Mainly used for fixation and post-treatment of direct, acidic, sulfurized and other dyes. It can improve the dyeing fastness of fabrics to water washing, soap washing, and sweat rubbing. When used in combination with certain dyes containing complex genes such as hydroxyl and carboxyl groups, it can improve light fastness without damaging the strength of the fabric. It can also be used as an umbrella treatment. The fixing agent M is soluble in water, but if it gradually thickens due to prolonged time or improper storage, the dissolution temperature must be increased. If necessary, a certain amount of acetic acid can be added, or it can be dissolved in hot air and then dissolved in water. |
This product can be managed according to general industrial chemicals. When using it, gloves and protective glasses should be worn to avoid direct contact with the skin and eyes. If it gets on the skin, rinse with water and soap. Place in a cool and dry warehouse to prevent exposure to sunlight and rain.
Firstly, 37% of formaldehyde is put into the reaction kettle, and then dicyandiamide (75% of the proportion) is sequentially added under stirring. During the reaction, the temperature naturally rises to 50 ℃, and the remaining ammonium chloride is added to raise the temperature to around 92 ℃. Heat preservation and stirring for 0.5h. Then slowly add copper acetate and react for 2 hours at 92~96 ℃. Cool down to 70 ℃ and discharge the finished product.
