3-(4-NITROPHENYL)PYRAZOLE, also known as 4-nitrophenylpyrazole or simply NPPI, is an organic compound. The following is a description of its nature, use, formulation and safety information:

1. Appearance: NPPI is white crystal or loose crystalline powder.
2. Melting Point: about 124-125 degrees Celsius.
3. Solubility: Soluble in some organic solvents, such as chloroform, dimethylformamide and ethanol.

Method:
NPPI can be prepared by a coupling reaction between aniline and 4-nitrobenzoic acid. First, aniline is dissolved in the presence of sodium carbonate and reacted with nitrobenzoic acid, followed by appropriate crystallization and separation and purification steps to obtain NPPI.
