Physical and Chemical PropertiesΒ-glucan is a kind of polysaccharide-β-glucan with the activity of enhancing immunity, which is present in the cell wall of yeast. Β-glucan is widely found in various fungi and plants, such as American Agaricus blazei, Lentinus edodes, Ganoderma lucidum and oat, and is the main effective substance for their health care.
Useβ-D-Glucan is a biomarker for the fungal infection, candidiasis. In a clinical study β-D-glucan levels was found to have poβible usefulneβ in prediction of patient outcomes.
