Boc-DL-Tyrosine is an amino acid derivative with the following properties:

Properties: Boc-DL-Tyrosine is a white crystalline or powdery solid, soluble in some organic solvents such as dimethylformamide (DMF) and methanol, but insoluble in water.

Purpose: Boc-DL-tyrosine is commonly used in the field of organic synthesis as an intermediate for the synthesis of other compounds. It can be used for the synthesis of peptides and proteins, and also for the synthesis of organic compounds such as drugs and natural products.
