| Application | 4-tetrahydropyranyl methanesulfonate can be used as an intermediate in pharmaceutical synthesis, and can be prepared by the reaction of tetrahydropyran-4-ol and methanesulfonyl chloride. It can be used to prepare compound 1 ′-benzyl -6-((tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl) oxy) spiroindene [-2,4 '-piperidine]-1(3H)-one. |
| preparation | 4-tetrahydropyran mesylate is prepared as follows: MsCl(4.61g,40.24mmol) is added to DCM(100mL) solution of tetrahydropyran -4-alcohol (3.54g,34.66mmol) and triethylamine (4.65g,45.95mmol) at -10 ℃. After stirring for 30min, the reaction system was diluted with water (100mL) and extracted with DCM(100mL,50mL). The combined organic phase was washed with brine (1 × 50mL), dried with anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure to give 4-tetrahydropyranyl mesylate (6.74g). |
