| production method | 1.? A 1 L stainless steel autoclave was charged with 125g (0.347 mol) of dibenzo -1-crown -6,500 ml of redistilled n-butanol and 12.5g of 5% nail-alumina catalyst. After flushing the system with nitrogen three times, hydrogen gas was introduced to 70 atmospheres.
