4-chlorobenzimidine hydrochloride can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical intermediate, mainly used in laboratory research and development process and chemical medicine generation process.

preparation

0.1mol of p-chlorobenzonitrile and 100mL of anhydrous ethanol are added into 250mL of four-mouth bottle at room temperature, and stirring is started at the same time, and p-chlorobenzonitrile is completely dissolved in about 15min. In order to prevent the exposure of sodium amide to the air from being oxidized, the weighed sodium amide is added in batches in a closed reagent bottle. After all the additions are completed, the reaction is carried out for 14 hours; ammonium chloride was added to 0.1mol at one time, and the temperature was raised to 60 ℃ for 2 hours to end the reaction. The filtrate after vacuum filtration of the reaction liquid while hot is adjusted with hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH value of 1~2. Using a rotary evaporator connected with a vacuum pump, the filtrate is distilled and recovered under a vacuum of 0.085MPa. The remaining part of ethanol is poured into a surface dish to obtain a light yellow solid. It is put into an oven for drying at 82 ℃ for 12 hours and then ground and stored in a self-sealing bag. The yield is about 85%.
