bilobetin - Introduction
8-[5-(5,)-2-methoxyphenyl]-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one, also known as ginkgo flavone, it is a natural compound extracted from the seeds of ginkgo. It has the following properties:
1. Appearance: 8-[5-(5,)-2-methoxyphenyl]-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one is a yellow crystalline powder.
2. Solubility: 8-[5-(5, Ti)-2-methoxyphenyl]-5,7-dihydroxyxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, dimethyl sulfoxide and dimethylformamide.
