| overview | high propranetin is an anti-inflammatory component extracted from the Compositae plant Artemisia artemisia. High propranetin is soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide, alkaline solution, slightly soluble in water, alcohol, acetone, insoluble in benzene, ether, petroleum ether, yellow needle crystal (crystallized in methanol). Modern pharmacological studies have shown that it has many pharmacological activities such as anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidation, liver protection, and inhibition of angiogenesis. |
| biological activity | Hispidulin (Dinatin) is a natural active ingredient existing in many traditional Chinese herbal medicines, which has inhibitory activity on oncoprotein kinase Pim-1, and its IC50 value is 2.71 μM. Hispidulin induces apoptosis by mitochondrial dysfunction and inhibits the P13k/Akt signaling pathway in HepG2 cancer cells. Hispidulin plays an anti-osteoporosis and weakened bone resorption role by activating AMPK signaling pathway. |
