BIS-(DIETHYLAMINO)PHOSPHOCHLORIDATE - Introduction

(Abbreviated DEAPC) is an organophosphorus compound. The following is an introduction to its nature, use, formulation and safety information:

Nature:
1. Appearance: colorless or light yellow liquid.
2. Molecular formula: C6H16ClNO2P.
3. Melting Point:-42 ℃.
4. Boiling point: 160-165 ℃.
5. Solubility: Soluble in water, alcohol and ketone.

Use:
1. DEAPC is an effective corrosion inhibitor, which can be used in metal anti-rust coatings to extend the service life of metals.
2. It can also be used as a catalyst in organic synthesis to participate in different types of reactions, such as Ester addition reactions.

Method:
The synthesis method of DEAPC is relatively simple and can usually be carried out through the following steps:
1. REACTION: combining amino diethyl alcohol with chloric acid to generate N,N-diethylamino chlorate.
2. Sintering N,N-diethylamino chlorate: sintering reaction occurs under the action of phosphorus chemical agent to generate chloride.

Safety Information:
1. DEAPC should be used in a well-ventilated place to avoid inhaling harmful gases.
2. Contact with skin or eyes, should immediately rinse with water for more than 15 minutes, and consult a doctor.
3. Avoid contact with strong oxidants and strong acids to prevent dangerous reactions.
