Preparation Method:
Ethyl 2-(2-amino-5-methyl-1,3-thiazol-4-yl)acetate can be prepared by reacting 2-amino-5-methyl-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid with glycolic acid. 2-amino-5-methyl-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid was first condensed with glycolic acid under alkaline conditions, and then the target product was obtained by transesterification.
