Use:
2-(Di-tert-butylphosphino)-2 ',6'-dimethoxybiphenyl is a common ligand of transition metal catalysts, which is widely used in organic synthesis reactions. It can form stable complexes with transition metals and play the role of auxiliary ligands in catalytic reactions. This ligand exhibits good catalytic activity and selectivity in asymmetric catalysis, hydrogenation, olefin metathesis, carbonylation and coupling reactions.
Preparation Method:
A common preparation method is obtained by debromination of dibrominated biphenyl, and then reacted with tert-butyl phosphine and methylene magnesium bromide to obtain the target product.
