Use:
-is often used as an intermediate in organic synthesis for the synthesis of other organic compounds.

Preparation Method:
It can be prepared by the following steps:
1.2-amino -6-methyl pyridine reacts with ferrous chloride to generate 2-chlorine -6-methyl pyridine.
2. react 2-chloro-6-methylpyridine with nitric acid to generate pyridine.
