4613-71-2 - Introduction
5-O-Benzoyl-1, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C19H18O8.
Nature:
1. Appearance: white to light yellow solid;
2. Solubility: Soluble in some organic solvents, such as ethanol, dichloromethane, etc;
3. melting point: about 165-168 degrees Celsius.
Use:
1. 5-O-Benzoyl-1 is an important intermediate for the synthesis of nucleoside fluorescent derivatives, which can be applied to the preparation of nucleic acids and nucleosides.
2. It is also used as a labeling reagent for studying nucleic acid sequences in biology.
Preparation Method:
5-O-Benzoyl-1, which can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. First, 2,3, 5-tri-O-acetyl-β-D-furanoside is reacted with benzoyl chloride to obtain 2,3, 5-tri-O-acetyl-β-D-furanoside benzoate;
2. Then, by adding a solvent system of dimethyl sulfoxide and pyridine, it is converted into an acylating reagent with the benzoyl group in the solution;
3. Finally, 3-deoxy-D-nucleoside in a mixed solution of trimethylsiloxane and tetrahydrofuran was added for acid deacylation to obtain the target product.
Safety Information:
1.5-O-Benzoyl-1, is a laboratory reagent and should be operated under the guidance of qualified and experienced personnel.
2. It may cause irritation to the skin, eyes and respiratory tract, so direct contact should be avoided during operation and good ventilation should be ensured.
3. It should be stored in a cool, dry place, avoid light and high temperature.
