Summary:
Aspirin was synthesized with salicylic acid and acetic anhydride as raw materials and trifluoromethanesulfonic acid as catalyst at 50 ℃. The effects of catalyst dosage, raw material ratio and reaction time on the yield were investigated. The results showed that the optimal reaction conditions were as follows: the amount of catalyst was the 0.2% of salicylic acid, n (salicylic acid):n (acetic anhydride) = 1:2.0, and the reaction time was 50 min. under these conditions, the yield of aspirin was 90.4%.

A neodymium catalytic system-neodymium trifluoromethanesulfonate/triisobutylaluminum catalytic system with ethanol as ligand [Nd(CF3SO3)3 · 3H2O · C2H5OH-(i-Bu)3] catalyzed the copolymerization of styrene (St) and isoprene (Ip). The effects of n(St)/n(1p),n(Al)/n(Nd), polymerization time, etc. The results show that the catalytic system cannot initiate homopolymerization of St, but can realize the copolymerization of St and Ip. The copolymerization activity is lower than that of lp, and strongly depends on the monomer composition. The molecular weight of the copolymer reaches 2.9 × 10 6.St is embedded in Ip long chain segments in the form of single molecules or/and short blocks. The Ip unit is dominated by cis-1 and 4 structures, and the mass fraction of cis-1 and 4 substances reaches 91%. With the increase of n(St)/n(Ip), the content of St in the copolymer increases significantly, but the increase of St content has no effect on the cis-1 of Ip unit, and the content of 4 has no effect.
