2-(4-METHYLPHENYL)-BENZOTHIAZOLE - Production method
The disulfide is obtained by reacting o-nitrochlorobenzene with sodium sulfide, and then reduced and treated with hydrochloric acid to obtain o-aminothiophenol hydrochloride, and the latter is cyclically combined with p-methylbenzoyl chloride under alkaline conditions to obtain the product.
