2,3-Dimethoxy-5-((trimethylsilyl)ethynyl)pyridine is an organic compound with a chemical formula of C13H19NOSi and a molecular weight of 241.38.

-Used as a reagent for organometallic chemistry, for example, reacting with a platinum catalyst to obtain an amide platinum complex.
-Can be used to prepare some nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds, such as piperazine and pyridine derivatives.

Preparation Method:
The synthesis of 2,3-Dimethoxy-5-((trimethylsilyl)ethynyl)pyridine can be carried out by the following steps:
1. First, 2,3-dimethoxypyridine and diiodomethane are reacted under alkaline conditions to obtain 2,3-diiodomethoxypyridine.
2. Then, 2,3-diiodomethoxypyridine and trimethyl (silyl) acetylene are subjected to a reductive cross-coupling reaction in an organic solvent to obtain 2,3-Dimethoxy-5-((trimethylsilyl)ethynyl)pyridine.
