Abstract:

In this paper, fourteen kinds of polyquaternary ammonium salts were synthesized from Di-tertiary amine and dihalogenated hydrocarbon. The effects of different raw materials on the polycondensation reaction and the structure of polycondensate on the flocculation performance were discussed. The flocculation characteristics and Zeta potential changes of these quaternary ammonium salts were discussed by measuring the flocculation effect. The results show that the charge neutralization of the suspended particles is one of the important reasons for the flocculation effect of the quaternary ammonium salt. Similar to other polymer flocculants, polyquaternary ammonium salt also has Bridging effect on suspended particles in solution. Therefore, the molecular weight of polyquaternary ammonium salt also has some influence on flocculation effect. This kind of flocculant in neutral, weak alkaline and electrolyte concentration is not high in the solution flocculation effect is better. Polyquaternary ammonium compounds may be a kind of cationic organic flocculant with practical application value.

Abstract:

with dichloroethyl ether and N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine as raw materials, A novel water-soluble polyquaternary ammonium salt, Poly [(oxyethylene-dimethylimino-ethylene-dimethylidene-ethylene) dichloride], was synthesized by copolymerization. The results show that the optimum synthesis conditions are as follows: the molar ratio of tetramethylethylenediamine to dichloroethyl ether is 1.05:1, the reaction temperature is controlled at 70 ℃, and the reaction time is 6 h, the dropping acceleration is 30 drops/min. The structure of the product was characterized by infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance. The thermal stability and characteristic viscosity of the polymer were determined, when the dosage was 80 mg/L, the sterilization effect was the best, and the sterilization rate reached 98%. The maximum characteristic viscosity of the product was 15.231 3 mL/g.
