In vitro study | L-755,507 is a very potent human β3 adrenergic receptor agonist with greater than 440-fold selectivity for β3 over the β1 and β2 receptors. L755507 was able to bring about an increase in cAMP accumulation in CHO-KI1 cells expressing human adrenergic β3 receptors, an effect that was significant with increasing concentration. In a recent study, L-755507 were found to enhance homologous recombination repair. |
In vivo study | The rate of lipolysis and metabolism of rhesus monkeys was increased by a short treatment of L-755,507. Long-term treatment increased the expression of uncoupling protein 1 in brown adipose tissue. |

in vitro research | L-755,507 is a very effective human β3 adrenergic receptor agonist, and its selectivity for β3 is more than 440 times higher than that for β1 and β2 receptors. L755507 can increase the accumulation of cAMP in CHO-KI1 cells expressing human adrenergic β3 receptor, and this effect is significant with the increase of concentration. In recent studies, L-755507 has been found to enhance homologous recombination repair. |
In vivo study | The rate of lipid decomposition and metabolism of rhesus monkeys increased by short-term L-755 and 507 treatment. Long-term treatment increased the expression of uncoupling protein 1 in brown adipose tissue. |
