Ionic liquids are widely used in chemical synthesis and catalytic reactions because of their low volatility, high stability and good solubility.
Method:
NITRATE can be prepared by methylation reaction and imidazole cyclization reaction. Butylamine is first reacted with methyl iodide to produce 1-methyl -3-butyl imidazole. 1-Methyl -3-butyl imidazole is then reacted with nitric acid to yield NITRATE.
Safety Information:
The NITRATE will not cause obvious harm under correct use and handling. But it is a chemical, should pay attention to the following safety matters:
-Avoid inhaling the gas of its dust and solution;
