Use | Application 2-chloro-1, 3-dibromobenzene is an organic intermediate, which can be prepared by diazotization reaction from 2, 6-dibromoaniline as raw material. 2-Chloro-1, 3-dibromobenzene can be used to prepare electroluminescent materials. |
Hazard Class | IRRITANT |
At 65°C, 2, 6-dibromoaniline (502mg,2mmol) was slowly added to the mixture of isoamyl nitrite (585mg,5mmol) and CuCl(396mg,4mmol) in acetonitrile (10mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at 65 ℃ for 2h, and then NH4BF4 solution (4.2g,40mmol) was added dropwise. The reaction mixture was stirred at 0-10°C for 1h, cooled to room temperature, concentrated under reduced pressure, dissolved with EA(30mL), and washed with water (20mL). The organic layer is dried by Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by column chromatography and eluted with PE to obtain 2-chloro-1, 3-dibromobenzene as a solid (270mg, yield 49%).
