4-Methylmorpholine-2-methylamine (abbreviation: 4-MMA) is an organic compound with the following properties:

2. Used as a surfactant and dispersant, widely used in coatings, adhesives and inks and other industrial fields.
Preparation Method:
4-MMA can be prepared by the following methods:
1. Methylation method: 2-methyl morpholine is reacted with methyl iodide to generate 4-methyl morpholine -2-methyl iodide, which is then reacted with ammonia to obtain 4-MMA.
2. Hydrogenation reduction method: 4-methylmorpholine-2-methanone is reacted with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst to obtain 4-MMA.
