phosphonoformic acid trisodium salt hexahydrate (chemical formula Na3C(H2PO3)2 · 6H2O), also known as sodium phosphonate, sodium phosphate, is a white crystalline solid, soluble in water.
phosphonoformic acid trisodium salt hexahydrate are often used as metal film corrosion inhibitors, reduce gypsum inhibitors, water treatment agents. In the electronics industry, it can be used in the chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process of semiconductors to improve the flatness of the surface of silicon wafers.
