Physical and Chemical Properties | This product is an oily liquid. |
Uses | O,O-bis (p-bromophenyl) thiophosphoryl chloride is specially used as an intermediate of rodenticide bromozophos in pesticide production. |
Production method | The preparation method is prepared by the reaction of p-bromophenol and phosphorus chloride in the presence of triethylamine. First add trichothion and benzene, at 15~20 DEG C dropwise add the mixture of p-bromophenol, benzene and triethylamine, about 0.5h dropwise complete, continue to stir for 15min. Add water, separate out of the water layer, recover triethylamine, and evaporate the benzene layer to remove the solvent to obtain O,O-bis (p-bromophenyl) thiophosphoryl chloride. |
