| Physical and Chemical Properties | It belongs to the anionic type and appears as a light yellow transparent solution. Easily soluble in water, with a pH value of 7-9 in a 1% aqueous solution. High temperature resistance, strong alkali resistance, not strong acid resistance, can be mixed with anionic and non ionic surfactants, but cannot be mixed with cationic surfactants. The characteristic of this product is its rapid wetting and permeability in concentrated alkali media. When the alkali concentration decreases, the permeability gradually weakens. The permeability significantly decreases below the alkali concentration of 10g/L, while there is no permeability effect in neutral media. |
| Use | Mainly used as a penetrating agent in the cotton fiber mercerization process, it can shorten the mercerization time and still ensure the mercerization effect, especially suitable for fast mercerization and blank yarn mercerization processes. This product can also be used as a penetrating agent for other strong alkaline media. |
