| Overview | Rhenium heptaoxide, also known as "rhenium anhydride", is a yellow flake or hexagonal crystal or powder. It has strong hygroscopicity. The melting point is about 297 ℃, the relative density is 6.103, and the sublimation starts at 250 ℃. It is easily soluble in water to form rhenic acid, soluble in acid, alkali, alcohol, acetone, dioxane and pyridine, and is oxidizing. Preparation method: In a closed system, it is obtained by the action of oxygen and rhenium at 400~425 ℃. |
