Solubility in water (g/100ml)
dissolved grams per 100 ml of water: 0.553g/20 ℃
production method
1. It is prepared by reacting sodium thiocyanate with nitric acid and lead nitrate.
It is prepared by reacting sodium thiocyanate (or potassium) refined by recrystallization with lead nitrate. 25g sodium thiocyanate and 45g lead nitrate were dissolved in 100mL distilled water respectively, and each solution was cooled to 0~5 ℃. The sodium thiocyanate solution was added to the lead nitrate solution under stirring. The lead thiocyanate precipitate was separated by filtration, and the precipitate was washed with ice water. And on a suitable desiccant such as anhydrous CaCl2 placed in the dark to dry.
2. Sodium thiocyanate and lead nitrate are used as raw materials. 25g of pure NaSCN is dissolved in 100mL of distilled water. 45g of pure Pb(NO3)2 was dissolved in 100mL of distilled water, and the two solutions were cooled to 0~5 ℃. NaSCN solution was added to Pb(NO3)2 solution and precipitated Pb(SCN)2 was filtered out. Wash with ice water and dry in the dark.
