c-GpAp - Introduction
c-GpAp is a chimeric exogenous DNA molecule known as Cyclic adenylyl diphosphate (Cyclic GMP-AMP ammonium salt). Its structure is a cyclic molecule consisting of two guanylic acid (GMP) and two adenylic acid (AMP) units linked by phosphodiester bonds.
c-GpAp can act as an immunomodulator and play an important role in the immune system. It can induce cells to produce interferon beta and other immune cytokines, thereby enhancing the body's anti-viral and anti-tumor immune responses. This makes c-GpAp have potential application value in tumor immunotherapy and immune vaccine research.
The preparation of c-GpAp is generally achieved by chemical synthesis. The specific preparation method includes synthesizing CGAMP molecules by reacting appropriate guanosine and adenosine units under appropriate reaction conditions, and reacting them with ammonium salts to obtain c-GpAp.
