Features
Antimony selenide (Sb2Se3) is a binary single-phase compound. Due to its large raw material reserves, low toxicity, low price, suitable band width (~ 1.15eV), large absorption coefficient (>105cm-1), and low crystal growth temperature, it is very suitable for making new low-cost and low-toxic solar cells.
Preparation method
Weigh the reaction raw materials 2mmolSb, 3mmolSe and the flux 10mmolCsCl, and then mix them to obtain the precursor, and fully grind the precursor to make it mix evenly; put the mixed sample into a quartz bottle, and use a vacuum pump unit to vacuum up to 10 ~ 102Pa (also can be protected by inert gas), so as to eliminate the influence of air on the molten salt reaction, and seal the quartz bottle with hydrogen and oxygen flame; the sealed Shi Ying bottle with mixed samples is placed in a common heating furnace, heated from normal temperature to 700 ℃ for 72 hours, then cooled to 450 ℃ to take out the Shi Ying bottle and quickly cooled to room temperature (put into water); Finally, the sample in the Shi Ying bottle is taken out, the flux CsCl is removed by ultrasonic water washing for many times, and then the sample is placed in a drying oven at 80 ℃ for drying for 2 hours to obtain micron-sized Sb2Se3 single crystal particles with crystal luster on the surface, about 55 microns.
