Trans-4-(4 '-propylcyclohexyl) phenylacrylate is an organic compound with the following properties:

The main use of Trans-4-(4 '-propyl cyclohexyl) phenyl acrylate is as a monomer of photosensitive polymer, which is used in the fields of light speed curing resin, photosensitive coating, photosensitive film and optical fiber. This compound can undergo radical polymerization under the action of ultraviolet light or visible light to form a high molecular polymer, and has good mechanical strength and light resistance.

The method for preparing Trans-4-(4 '-propylcyclohexyl) phenylacrylate is to react 4-(4'-propylcyclohexyl) phenol and acrylic anhydride, and perform esterification reaction under alkaline conditions.
