2-Oxiraneoctanoic acid,3-octyl-, methyl ester, (2R,3R)-rel-is a compound with the chemical formula C15H28O3. It has the following properties:

It can be used in the manufacture of cosmetics, coatings, inks, adhesives, plastics and resins. It can also be used as surfactants and additives, with thickening and enhancing viscosity function.
