Physical and Chemical Properties	Chemical properties light yellow crystal or crystalline powder, odorless. Easily soluble in water, easily soluble in methanol or ethanol, soluble in absolute ethanol or acetone, slightly less soluble in acetic acid or isopropanol, insoluble in chloroform, insoluble in ether, benzene or hexane. Unstable in light and humid air. Melting point 111~112 ℃ (anhydrous ethanol: diethyl ether, 1:1); Melting point 101-103 ℃ (decomposition) (isopropanol). [α]D20 93.2 (C = 0.5, methanol);[α]D23 73.2 (C = 0.3, methanol). Acute toxic LD50 male rats (mg/kg):42 intraperitoneal, 42 intravenous, 50 oral.
Use	Use alkylating agent, newly developed nitrosourea anti-tumor drug. It has good water solubility and broad-spectrum anticancer activity. It can be used for malignant lymphoma, myeloma, malignant gliosarcoma, chronic myeloid leukemia, polycythemia vera, essential thrombocytosis, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, etc.
