| Use | 2-ethylphenol is used as a reagent for the synthesis of phenoxyacetic acid derivatives as a novel free fatty acid receptor 1 agonist, for the treatment of diabetes. 2-ethylphenol has also been used for the preparation of aminoquinazoline class toll-like receptor ligands and for potential immunotherapy. |
