Preparation Method:

2. In an appropriate solvent, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid is reacted with dimethyl carbonate to form 4-hydroxybenzyl ester.

4. Finally, the esterification product is reacted with hydrogen iodide to obtain 2-[(4-Hydroxybenzoyl)oxy]-N,N,N-trimethylethanaminium iodide.
