Abstract:
Non-steroidal anti-drugs commonly used to treat systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), such as ibuprofen, can cause aseptic meningitis, this paper reports a case of SLE with the drug and the use of toluene (?) All patients developed aseptic meningitis after treatment with acetic acid (tolmefin), which was more severe. All patients recovered after drug withdrawal. A 21-year-old woman with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), with clinical evidence of arthritis, Pneumonia, anemia, thrombocytopenia, and high-titer antinuclear antibodies, was treated with low-dose prednisone for 2 years to control symptoms. In Head Pain, after 1 week of treatment with ibuprofen, low-grade fever,, photophobia, swollen lymph nodes and conjunctivitis occurred. CSF pressure 300mm H_2O, no blood cells, normal protein. Peripheral blood leukocytes were 9,800/mm, alkaline phosphatase was 269 (normal 115)U/L(SMACJ), transaminase was normal. 3 days later SGOT 2,000 (normal 200)U/L,SGPT1,175 (normal 40)U/L; Lactate dehydrogenase 6,500 (normal 200)U/L; Alkaline phosphatase 340
