Use	Used as pesticide insecticide (ie diactinide, or cyanide), military poison. Inbiotic soil fumigant kills fungi, nematodes, underground pests and weed seeds in the soil before crop planting. It is also the active substance of Mianlong and Weibaimu
Production method	Using monomethylamine, carbon disulfide and ethyl chloroformate as raw materials, it is prepared by the following steps. The carbon disulfide and sodium hydroxide solution were mixed, stirred and cooled to 10-15 ℃, and 35% methylamine aqueous solution was added within 0.5h. Warm stirring for 1-2h makes the reaction complete and produces a bright red solution. Cool it to 35-40 ℃, add ethyl chloroformate dropwise under stirring, continue stirring for 30min after adding, and the temperature drops to about 30 ℃. The upper isothiocyanate is separated, dried with anhydrous sodium sulfate and fractionated, and the 115-121 ℃ fraction is collected as the finished product. The yield is about 70%.
