ammonium molybdate thermal decomposition method: the molybdate concentrate is crushed to 60~80 mesh, put into the baking furnace at 500~550 ℃ oxidation roasting, leaching with ammonia, ammonium molybdate solution to remove impurities, heating to 40~45 ℃, adding nitric acid and neutralizing to pH -1.5 under stirring, generating ammonium octabolybdate precipitation, after filtration, centrifugal dehydration, dissolved in ammonia water at 70~80 ℃, after evaporation and concentration, secondary ammonium molybdate was obtained, and then thermal decomposition was carried out at 550~600 ℃ to obtain molybdenum trioxide finished product.

Insoluble in water, soluble in alkali, acid, ammonia and potassium hydrogen tartrate solution. Sublimation at higher temperatures. Very slightly soluble in acids after strong burning. Moderate toxicity, median lethal dose (rat, oral) 125mg/kg. It's irritating.
