| Application | L-alanine amide hydrochloride (L-Alaninamide hydrochloride) is also called (S)-2-aminopropionamide hydrochloride, which is a white crystal, It is soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, and insoluble in ether or n-butanol. It can be used as organic synthesis intermediates and pharmaceutical intermediates, mainly used in laboratory research and development processes and chemical and pharmaceutical production processes. |
| preparation | 500g of methanol and 100g of L-alanine are added into a 1000ml three-mouth flask, and 90ml of thionyl chloride (T≤ 35 ℃) are added dropwise. after dropwise, the three-mouth flask is transferred into a water bath and heated to reflux (T≤ 80 ℃) to fully remove SO2, in the ice bath state (T≤ 20 ℃), ammonolysis is carried out to flush 0.56kg of ammonia gas, sealed at normal temperature and stayed in the water bath for overnight (20 hours), the water bath is heated to T = 55 ℃ for ammonia removal and concentration, the concentration volume end point is 300ml, ammonia removal and concentration are finished, excess ammonium chloride is filtered, rinsed with 100ml of methyl alcohol, the rinsing solution is combined with the mother liquor and transferred into a 1000ml beaker, 34.5ml hydrochloric acid (concentration is 10%) is slowly added dropwise to adjust the pH = 1.55, the acid adjustment is finished, sealed and put into a refrigerator for 12 hours, 400ml acetone is added after taking out, crystals are precipitated, is filtered, rinsed, and dried at 45 ℃ for 12 hours to obtain 85g of white crystals (yield is 85%), the test result is [ɑ] = +11.4 °. |
