Fluazuron - Introduction
Fluazuron(Fluazuron) is a non-selective tick ketone insecticide with strong killing and inhibiting effects. It is mainly used in agriculture and aquaculture to control the growth and reproduction of various parasitic ticks (such as cattle ticks, dog ticks, etc.).
Fluazuron as a non-selective insecticide, its mechanism of action is by inhibiting the phagocytosis and metabolism of tick enzymes in the skeletal structure of parasitic tick larvae and adults, and hindering their normal growth and development. It has a wide range of insecticidal spectrum and has a long residual effect on ticks.
The method of preparing Fluazuron is to add chloroacetic anhydride to p-aminochlorosulfonate, and then use acetic anhydride to obtain an intermediate, and then go through diazotization, aramid amino reaction, cracking and esterification steps to obtain the final product. During the preparation, attention should be paid to the operating temperature and the reaction conditions of each step.
