Physical and Chemical PropertiesWhite-like crystals. Melting point 36 ℃, relative density 1.268(25/4 ℃), refractive index 1.6021(25 ℃). The vapor pressure (100 ℃) is 0.04Pa. Soluble in benzene, toluene, xylene, acetone, isopropanol, methanol, actually insoluble in water. It is stable in neutral and acidic media, but decomposes with alkali.
