Disopyramide - Reference Information
| biological activity | Disopyramide (Dicorantil) is a class IA anti-arrhythmic agent for both laboratory and atrial arrhythmias. Disopyramide blocked the rapid inward sodium current in the myocardium to prolong the duration of myocardial action potential. Disopyramide inhibits HERG-encoded potassium channels. Disopyramide also exhibits complex protein binding and a strong negative inotropic effect. |
