Chloro(1,5-cyclooctadiene)(1,5-cyclo) iridium is an organometallic compound with the chemical formula [Cp * Ir(Cl)(C8H12)] [NHC], where Cp * represents a 1,5-Cyclooctadiene substituent and NHC represents 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolylidene.

Nature:

Use:

Method:

Finally, the two preforms are reacted in a suitable solvent to give Chloro(1,5-cyclo-ctadiene)(1,5) iridium.
