Boc-Ala-NH2 - Introduction
Boc-L-alanine amide is an organic compound with the chemical formula C9H18N2O3. It is an L-alaninamide with a protecting group (Boc group, t-butoxycarbonyl group) in the structure.
Boc-L-alanine is commonly used as an amino acid protection reagent in organic synthesis. The protecting group (Boc group) can protect the amine group from reacting with other reagents during the synthesis, thereby selectively reacting other functional groups.
