Beraprost - Production method
alcohol (I) is oxidized and dehydrogenated with dimethyl sulfoxide-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) in anhydrous benzene and pyridine to obtain aldehyde (II); Then, under the protection of argon, the solution of phosphine (III) and sodium hydride in ethylene glycol dimethyl ether is immediately added to obtain compound (IV) with 80% yield. (Ⅳ) Reduced with lithium aluminum hydride to obtain 44% compound (V), and finally hydrolyzed to obtain beraprost.
